About Us

Dallas and Elizabeth Warren, the owners of Serenity Home Inspections, have a deep connection to Central Florida. Born and raised in Osceola County, they have witnessed firsthand the challenges that Florida homes face due to extreme weather and failing standards in trade skills. With decades of experience in the trades, from framing to remodeling, they are committed to combating the serious lack of professionalism exhibited by many in the industry. Their dedication to honesty and accountability is reflected in their work, ensuring that their clients receive the highest quality home inspections.
Dallas Warren

Dallas Warren's childhood home was built in 1918, and it was there that he first became fascinated with renovation and maintenance. As he grew older, he eagerly assisted with the renovation of the old house, even removing outdated nob-and-tube wiring and clay drainage pipes. These early experiences ignited his passion for construction.
During middle school and high school, Dallas actively participated in remodeling the family home. He learned invaluable lessons from the skilled tradesmen hired for the job. Simultaneously, his stepfather introduced him to the new construction industry, with a particular focus on framing. This hands-on exposure allowed Dallas to witness modern construction methods and materials up close.
Guided by the mantra “busy hands are trouble-free,” Dallas entered his senior year with a laser focus on work. He dual-enrolled in college to complete his remaining English credits while working nights at U.P.S. His dedication, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn led to multiple promotions and certifications. Additionally, he spent hours each week contributing to the safety committee.
Despite his success at U.P.S., Dallas yearned for more. The late-night shifts didn’t satisfy his need to create and work with his hands. So, he took on a second job—the pivotal moment that solidified his path. In June 2001, Dallas officially began his construction career as a framer, all while continuing his dual-enrollment and U.P.S. night shifts.
Building a Family
In 2006, Dallas returned to his hometown of Saint Cloud. There, he reconnected with the church where he had spent his formative years. Familiar faces greeted him, but one person stood out—the younger sister of his high-school friends, Elizabeth. After a year of dating (and a few intimidating conversations with her protective brothers and father), Dallas and Elizabeth tied the knot in 2007. Their wedding took place on the very spot where he had proposed, and where Elizabeth had been dedicated as a newborn.
As a couple, Dallas and Elizabeth immersed themselves in Osceola County life. They cherished time with their families, especially their nieces and nephews. Dallas’ playful nature earned him the affectionate title of “Uncle Monkey.” Meanwhile, he continued his career at U.P.S., having worked there for a decade and recently transitioned to a driver role.
However, the two years as a U.P.S. driver were emotionally grueling. Caught between management and the union, Dallas felt frustrated and unfulfilled. The corporate office politics weighed heavily on him, and he yearned for change. His wife, excelling in her job at the Osceola County Courts and the Building and Planning Department, shared his sentiment. In 2011, they made the difficult decision to leave the security of U.P.S.

A Commitment to Excellence

Dallas had never been one to chase ambition or take unnecessary risks. His clean lifestyle—no drinking, smoking, or drugs—reflected his grounded nature. Leaving U.P.S. was the toughest decision he’d ever faced. His success had always stemmed from hard work and genuine care for the quality of his output and its impact on others.
The prevailing “good enough” mentality in the industry frustrated Dallas. He yearned for the satisfaction of working outdoors, creating structures that stood the test of time. His fascination with engineering, construction materials, and evolving methods fueled an insatiable thirst for knowledge—one he freely shared with others.
Reflecting on the house he grew up in—a testament to enduring craftsmanship—Dallas knew he couldn’t settle for mediocrity. When the opportunity arose to join his brothers in launching a renovation company, he seized it. Their contract with Lowe’s marked the beginning of a transformative journey. Initially serving just three local stores, the company rapidly expanded. Soon, they covered all of central Florida—from north Deland to Poinciana and from Polk County to the Space Coast.
During this period, Dallas navigated codes and permitting intricacies, honing his expertise. His passion for construction remained undiminished, and the impact on his family was immeasurable.
Family, Dreams, and Challenges
Despite the long, grueling days, Dallas and Elizabeth found fulfillment in their work. The flexibility of managing their schedules allowed them to thrive. After 11 years of marriage, they decided to start a family. In 2019, their first daughter arrived—a bundle of joy who fulfilled their deepest desires. Thoughts of coaching soccer teams, attending dance recitals, and leaving a lasting legacy filled their hearts. In 2023, they welcomed their second daughter, who is the perfect match for their high energy toddler.
However, life isn't without challenges. Years of backbreaking labor had taken its toll on Dallas' body. He knew he couldn't remain on this path forever. Gazing at their precious babies, Dallas and Elizabeth realized they needed a new plan. His frustrations with the construction industry's failures, both in craftsmanship and inspections, persisted. Yet, he knew that solving a problem of such magnitude required collective effort beyond himself.
As they navigated the complexities of parenthood and career transitions, Dallas remained committed to building something enduring - for his family, his community, and the industry itself.

A New Chapter: Serenity Home Inspections

Dallas Warren’s journey took an exciting turn when he decided to combat the construction industry’s shortcomings head-on. His passion for quality work and genuine care for people led him to a new endeavor: home inspections.
Recognizing that he couldn’t fix everything, Dallas focused on making a difference one person at a time. Armed with knowledge from years in construction and renovation, adept communication skills, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, he launched Serenity Home Inspections alongside his wife. Their love for Central Florida and its' residents became the driving force behind their business.
